Education/Disabilities Resource Specialist, Action for a Better Community Head Start

Elizabeth was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on December 21, 1975. In 1996 she graduated with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Puerto Rico then later moved to Rochester at the end of that same year with her daughter and family.

She has worked in Early Childhood Programs for fourteen years, most of them with Action for a Better Community Head Start; as an Assistant Teacher, Teacher and currently she is the Education/Disabilities Resource Specialist. She enjoys facilitating trainings to education staff and other educational programs in the community.

She graduated in October 2010 from the Latino Leadership Development Program through United Way. Her passions is working with children and empowering teachers.
