Puerto Rican Festival 2007 Theme
“Absent Pioneers: In Memory of Those Before Us”

The Puerto Rican Festival 2007 would like to inform you that this year’s theme is “Absent Pioneers” in honor of those individuals that contribute in some way or form to our community. A small committee elected 9 individuals that met the requirements and who left a legacy in our city. Their memories will be represented on our poster in form of a photograph.

On Friday August 3rd at 1:30 in the afternoon at the new festival location; VIP Parking Lot at Frontier Field, we will unveil the poster in honor of the 9 people selected.

We invite you to be present at the time of the unveiling of the poster and when we present the families of those selected with a small token of appreciation for the contribution that their deceased family member offered us and for opening the doors for Hispanics in Rochester and Monroe County.
